The concept of media education

Media literacy:

• Spreading the culture of media education and media literacy
• Creating a generation of conscious youth who are well versed in the media and able to identify and respond to false news and rumors with critical thinking. Able to detect misinformation, combat extremist ideas and others, enhance and develop individuals' critical thinking abilities and skills
• Strengthening the culture of dealing with social media, promoting the correct uses of technology and its tools, and introducing methods of dealing with random information circulated, according to disciplined principles that close the door of information, in light of the exacerbation of the problem of random information exchange, and the spread of rumors as a result of the spread through social media
